It occurred to be yesterday as I typed the words, “talk boyfriend into helping me with ugly bushes this weekend” in my last post that I am a big girl and if I
wanted those bushes trimmed I can do it myself.

I'm pretty sure the one on the right is dead. My mom suggested pulling out the first and third bush, keep the middle bush, and then planting something else on either side of the big middle bush. Thoughts anyone?

Good for you doing it on your own! That's the spirit. Maybe pull out the first and third like she suggested and plant flowers instead? Not sure how the final look would turn out though.
